AlisonDITCHFIELDIt is with great sadness we announce the death of Alison "Jill" Ditchfield, formerly of Burton-Upon-Stather.
"Jill" sadly passed away in the care of the Stroke Unit at Scunthorpe Hospital on Sunday the 20th of April 2025.
"Jill" is reunited with her beloved mum Mable, her adored brother David Calvert and her loving husband Phillip Ditchfield.
She was a much loved Aunt to Diane, Peter and Lily, a loved sister-in-law to Ann, a great friend to Janet and Peter Cole and their daughters Helen and Sarah, and to all her neighbours.
She worked for many years for Scunthorpe Council, housing department and anyone who knew her would know her quick wit and independence.
She will be sadly missed by those left behind.
No formal funeral service will take place.
